Apple released the first official trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes yesterday, and if you haven't seen this thrilling trailer, check it out below!
During the live Rise of The Planet of The Apes event tonight (which can be replayed), the moderator announced that the 1st official trailer to Rise of The Planet of the Apes will air tomorrow (April 14) on iTunes. This is awesome news!
During the event, we were treated to interviews with several of the SFX designers, as well as an exclusive interview of Andy Serkis (Caesar the ape). There were also lots of CG shots of the apes (especially Caesar), questions from facebook fans were answered, and a sneak peak at the trailer. The movie looks awesome and I cannot wait to see the full trailer. What do you think?

WETA, the Academy Award winning visual effects team who is credited with the stunning visuals in such films as The Lord of The Rings Trilogy and Avatar will be bringing an exclusive look at their new film, Rise of the Planet of The Apes in a special LIVE event on their Facebook page today.
In this live event, you can expect to see footage from the film, including behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the digital apes! The event will follow with a fan Q&A session. Post any questions to the wall of the official Apes Facebook page, for a chance to have them answered by WETA.
The live event starts today (April 13) at 2:30pm Pacific/5:30 Eastern.
Syfy's new series, Alphas, is from the writer of X-Men: The Last Stand, Zak Penn and stars Academy Award nominee, David Strathairn (Good Night and Good Luck)!
Alphas, which will be directed by Lost veteran Jack Bender, is set to be yet another super powers pilot. According to Syfy, it revolves around a "team of ordinary citizens whose brain anomalies imbue them with extraordinary mental and physical abilities".
The team is lead by Dr. Lee Rose (Strathairn), and will investigate cases that the CIA and FBI have either ignored or have not been able to solve. The team will have to overcome differences and to ultimately learn work together in order to solve crime and save the world. Check out the sneak peak below!
