Meet the new Wonder Woman. Adrianne Palicki has signed on to star in the much talked about new pilot based on David E. Kelley's reimagining of the D.C. Comics super hero.
Palicki, who has previously played in Lone Star and Friday Night Lights, will play Wonder Woman (aka Diana Prince) corporate executive woman (by day) and vigilante crime fighter (by night).
Palicki will reunite with Jeff Reiner (pilot's director) who previously directed/co-produced Friday Night Lights for NBC. The Wonder Woman reboot will be produced by Warner Bros. TV

She seems like a great choice. I can't say I'm that familiar with Adrianne's acting chops, so I really can't comment. I think she'll probably be quite good. Will she live up to Lynda Carter in the role? Remains to be seen, but you never know. There are always people like Tom Welling who turn around and give such a stellar performance that they just seem to 'own' the role.
