Doctor Who Series 6 Airs Tonight; One Of The Four Leads 'Marked For Death'

We here at RaiderJane have been counting down for months in anticipation to the new series of Doctor Who.  Well the waiting is nearly over. Only 12 hours until the premiere of the series 6 of Doctor Who airs tonight on BBC One and BBC America.

Synopsis, taken from daemonstv.com:
"four envelopes are received, numbered 2, 3, and 4, each containing a date, time and map reference, unsigned, but in TARDIS blue. Who sent them?  And who received the missing number one? This strange summons reunites the Doctor (Matt Smith), Amy (Karen Gillan), Rory (Arthur Darvill) and River Song (Alex Kingston) in the middle of the Utah desert and unveils a terrible secret the Doctor's friends must never reveal to him. 'Space 1969' is their only clue, as their quest lands them-quite literally- in the Oval Office, where they are enlisted by President Nixon himself to assist enigmatic former- FBI agent Canton (Mark Sheppard) in saving a terrified little girl from a mysterious spaceman."

And if that isn't enough, according to bleeding cool, Doctor Who Magazine claims that one of the 11th Doctor's 4 main characters is going to be killed off in the first episode!  That's right, dead.  Click here to see the above magazine cover and 3 alternates.

So who will it be? The Doctor (Matt Smith), Amy (Karen Gillan), Rory (Arthur Darvill) or River Song (Alex Kingston)?  No matter who it is, this'll be a sad episode for fans of the show. Who do you think's days are numbered?

Doctor Who, series 6, airs tonight on BBC One/BBC America, 9 ET/6 Central
