New Battlestar Galactica, Spin-off Coming To TV
For those BSG fans out there, you can expect yet another spin-off of the popular franchise, BSG- Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome.
Word first came out when it was mentioned that Ronald D. Moore the screenwriter of the re-imagined BSG, was in the process of developing the show with Syfy. The teleplay of Blood & Chrome was written by Michael Taylor, on a story by Taylor, David Eick, Bradley Thompson and David Weddle. Jonas Pate will direct.
Blood & Chrome is set during the First Cylon War, which takes place chronologically between Caprica and Battlestar Galactica. According to wikipedia, The show will be set in the 10th year of the first Cylon War and will revolve around the rise of a young "Ensign William Adama, 20 yrs of age, and a recent Academy graduate who finds himself leading a dangerous top secret mission that, if successful, will turn the tide of the decade long war in favor of the desperate fleet."
Syfy has greenlit the two-hour pilot of Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Crome. Production began on February 10, 2011 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Sweet! I can't get enough of the BSG universe.
ReplyDeleteI finally got through the whole thing (back episodes), and I totally agree! I got to the last one, and I almost hated to see it go. Glad to know I don't have to say good-bye!
