Director Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) is scheduled to realm the remake of Total Recall which will star Colin Farrell. It has been called a remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, which was based on Philip K. Dick's short novel, We Can Remember It For You Wholesale.
This adaptation will be unlike its predecessor in many ways. This version will apparently not take place in space, but will instead play out on Earth. This is very ambiguous indeed! Not sure how it will play out, but the producer, Neal Moritz, promises a "great twist" in this new film. What do you think? How can this story work played out solely on Earth?
Filming is scheduled to begin on May 15 in Toronto.
