The most anticipated Blu-ray release in the galaxy is now available for worldwide pre-order!

The most anticipated Blu-ray DVD release ever--The Star Wars Saga--is available this September. All six movies in the Star Wars saga will be released in high-definition home video format on Blu-Ray in a collectible Box Set and will be available this coming September 2011 (pre-orders are now available worldwide)!

The set will include all live-action feature films with the "highest picture and audio quality", along with "three additional discs and more than 30 hours of extensive special features", including, "never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the Star Wars Archives, and much more".

One of the features, reportedly, includes a long-lost deleted scene from Return of the Jedi ("a sequence that depicts Luke assembling his new lightsaber prior to breaking in to Jabba the Hutt's palace").  This is an example of a cut scene that made it all the way to "postproduction before being cut"-meaning the visual effects and music are of highest caliber.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment President Mike Dunn calls the release the most anticipated Blu-ray collection [release] since the launch of the high-def format."

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release Star Wars in three distinct sets to meet the needs of every Star Wars fan:

Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray (9-disc Set includes all six films)
Star Wars: Prequel Blu-ray Trilogy (3-disc set includes Episodes I-III)
Star Wars: Original Blu-ray Trilogy (3-disc set includes Episodes IV-VI)
